Gun Violence Prevention Laws Introduced in 2014 So Far

The Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence is tracking state gun laws. Legislators in many different states have introduced hundreds of bills to strengthen gun laws, and many of these bills will reduce gun violence and save lives.

Ceasefire Oregon is currently working to pass SB 1551, which would require background checks on all gun sales in the state of Oregon, with exceptions for close family members.
