ABC News Runs Special On What Happens When Children Find Guns

ABC News recently broddcast “Young Guns” about shootings that occur when children find loaded firearms. The network reported that 4.7 million U.S. children live in homes with an unsecured and loaded firearm, and 98 children under the age of 18 died in accidental shootings in 2010.
In this one-hour special report, hidden cameras reveal what young children do when they discover a gun even when the children had been taught not to touch guns. The program shows that even very young children know where guns are “hidden” in their home.
