Congressman Blumenauer on the Need for Study and Action on Reducing Gun Violence

Representative Earl Blumenauer speaks out about how we need to study gun violence and how to prevent it. We also need to take action to stop it. There is no reason that tens of thousands of people must die from gun violence ever year, that automatic weapons should be available over the counter, and that armor-piercing bullets are available for purchase.
These items serve no useful purpose. We must study this issue, work on solutions to gun violence, and act!
