Repealing pre-emption could allow attempts to illegally nullify laws (so-called “Second Amendment protection orders” or SAPOs). These illegal nullification concepts attempt to allow sheriffs to take on the role of US Supreme Court Justices to determine if a law is legal or not. The role of the sheriff is to enforce the law, not determine if the US Supreme Court has made an error.
