More information:

Oregon has already been forced to accept hidden, concealed guns in public schools, K-12, if the gun owner has a concealed handgun license (CHL). Remember that Oregon law does not require any hands-on training to receive a CHL.

Oregon Community Colleges allow concealed handguns on their campuses.

Guns on campus did not prevent or stop the Umpqua Community College shooting, the Rosemary Anderson High School shooting, or the Reynolds High School shooting. At the Thurston shooting, the shooter was stopped by a fellow student who had actually already been shot but still managed to tackle the shooter.
