Join parents all across America in protecting our children from gun violence by taking the ASK Pledge.


I pledge to do everything in my power to protect my child from gun violence.

I am aware the 40% of Oregon homes have a gun and that many of those guns are left unlocked and loaded. I will no longer allow my child to be exposed to this risk.

From this day forward, I will ASK if there is a gun in any home where my child plays.
If there is a gun, I will:

1. Ensure that the gun is locked and stored separately from the ammunition.

OR

2. Invite the other child to play in my home.

This pledge is not about politics. It is simply about committing to ask a simple question that could save my child's life.
