The Oregon Legislative Assembly is not currently in session. The next session begins January 12, 2009.

Please check back here in 2009 for updates on bills concerning guns.

Guns are too easily accessible to people who cannot lawfully own them, and gun violence is far too common in Oregon and the United States. We must work to prevent children, felons, fugitives from justice, and people with a history of mental illness from obtaining guns and shooting people. Please do what you can to prevent gun violence.

Visit the Oregon State Legislature's website to find out who your local representatives are, as well as information on other House and Senate lawmakers. Email your representatives to let them know that their constituency wants them to vote for a safer Oregon.
